We’re featured in today’s Philippine Daily Inquirer, the biggest daily newspaper in the Philippines! Check out the entire article online: “Ateneo grads offer K-Pop dance classes”
Here’s a short excerpt:
Former members of Ateneo de Manila University’s Blue Babble Battalion (BBB*) were looking for an avenue to dance shortly after graduation, when they came up with the idea to offer dance classes.
The twist? It’s dancing along to songs Korean pop (K-Pop) idols have made popular in the Philippines.
*For our foreign readers, BBB is a cheerdance squad from one of the top universities in the Philippines.
Interesting factoid: Did you know that Babble is the first ever UAAP cheering squad to use KPop secretly in their routine (DBSK’s O.Jung.Ban.Hap)? Waaaay back in 2007, before all the other squads started using Nobody ;)
We will be tackling “Replay” for our next class this April! There’s been a pretty huge demand for summer classes — so we’re contemplating on doing it every other weekend, at least. We are also getting requests for a repeat class for crowd favorites, like “Lucifer” and “Bonamana”.
Let us know in the comments below if you’re willing to attend repeat classes, as well as how often you’d like us to hold them this summer :) From there, we’ll kind of figure out our summer schedule!
PS. On a more serious note, everybody please include Japan in your prayers. One of our Fangirl Diaries correspondents, Nana, is from Tokyo, and we are praying for her safety and that of the rest of Japan’s.

I was about to ask you about holding repeat classes. I’d love to learn Lucifer, Bonamana, No other and Run devil run so count me in. How about classes every other week? Can’t wait for Replay. =)

You can invite your past students to the Black Day dinner too! ^^
Hi! My friends and I would really, definitely like to join your classes this summer. Repeat classes sounds fun! We are dying to know how to dance “Wedding Dress.” Classes every other week is a good idea too. Please let me know how to sign up for the classes. My friends and I who want to join are 6 all in all. :)
